Apple Offers Mac Mini “Test Drive”

August 31st, 2005 · No Comments

Apple is offering to let you test drive a Mac Mini, a keyboard, and a mouse for 30 days. If you don’t like it, you can return it all for your money back– and no restocking fee.

If you return your products in their original, unmarked packaging, including any accessories, manuals, documentation, and registration cards that shipped with them, we will exchange your products or offer you a refund based on your original method of payment. The Mac mini may not be returned if the UPC has been removed from the box. You must return your products to the Apple warehouse within 14 calendar days of the issuance of the RMA or the RMA will expire. Apple will refuse any returns unaccompanied by a valid RMA. Apple will not charge a restocking fee.

This offer is only valid for preconfigured (non-customized) Mac Minisnot valid in Apple stores. The only way to do the test drive is to buy the Mac Mini via Apple’s web site.

I think this is a great idea and a good change to try out the Mac Mini for yourself. If they were offering this test drive a few months ago, I would have certainly purchased a Mac Mini as our first switch computer rather than just go all out and buy an iMac G5.
