With the flashing battery life on the top of my screen, I knew my mouse’s death was inevitable. But it was still painful to watch.
I have had my iMac machine since about the end of June. And, in the just over two months that have passed since then, I have replaced the batteries three or four times.
I plugged in my old trusty Microsoft optical USB mouse (with scroll wheel and two buttons) into my Mac. It had been a while, but I got back into the two-buttoned groove quite quickly.
My old Microsoft mouse is a little bigger in my paw, but that girth adds some great features I sort of missed in a mouse on my Macintosh.
Not sure yet if I will upgrade to the Logitech MX900. After spending about $80 on top of the top dollar for my iMac just to get the wireless keyboard and mouse, I’m having difficulty justifying to my wife why I should be allowed to spend even more.
