We just discovered that iTunes 5 has been released. You can get it here.
According to the web site, the new “features” are a new look, a search bar, parental controls, playlist folders, and smart shuffle.
Doesn’t seem like enough features for a full release to me. Why couldn’t they call it iTunes 4.95?

I’m sure the major thing is support for the Nano. That’s why they gave it a major rev number, and released the same day.

Of course! That makes perfect sense. But why didn’t they mention that in the list of new features?
