I mentioned earlier that I was working on switching my iPod over from the Windows format to the Mac format.
I used to manually sync my iPod with my Windows Laptop because I could not commit to keeping my nearly 40 Gigs of data on my laptop. Now that I’ve got a Mac desktop with enough room, I can splurge.
When you have nearly 7,000 mp3 files on your iPod, it is pretty scary to hit the button the wipe it clean. After verifying it a few times (and copying my data archives off of it into two locations), I went ahead and re-synced my iPod.
Everything went very smoothly.
I am very impressed with the data hot-syncing abilities between my Mac applications and the iPod. Now I have my contacts and iCal data all stored on my iPod along with me when I’m on the road. I also like how it automatically syncs podcasts.
All in all, I think my iPod works better with my Mac than it did with my Windows machine. Is that possible?
