I Like The New GMail Notifier

October 3rd, 2005 · 1 Comment

I have been running Google’s new Gmail Notifier for the past few days and must say that I absolutely love it.

Instead of needing to run firefox to either run their notifier extension or keep an e-mail tab open, Google’s GMail notifier lets me see how many e-mails I have and lets me see who they’re from too.

This is great for me. I am still trying to figure out what browser I like, and this lets me keep an eye on my e-mail regardless of what browser I’ve got open at the time.

Use Apple Mail, it kicks, and has the same notifier deal. Gmail can be forwarded to it via POP (instructions in gmail on how to do it) You can drag attachments in, search instantly, and all your msgs are copied to your computer.
