Mac360 is running an article on the top ten FTP applications for the Mac.
Although they only rated it #3, my personal favorite FTP program is Cyberduck. It has one thing going for it that Mac360’s #1 and #2 FTP programs don’t: it is free.
I’m sure I sound like a cheapskate by saying this - and, I am - but my wife and I have two Mac desktops and a laptop and use the internet heavily.
While Cyberduck will cost us nothing, it would cost $90 to buy Transmit for all three computers. After trying it, we felt that Cyberduck was fine for our needs.
And there’s nothing wrong with saving a hundred bucks when you can, right?
