I got my first PC in 1986. In the nearly 20 years since, I have been using some variant of DOS or Windows.
But in the past few years, I have gotten more and more frustrated. I do not have the time to commit to troubleshooting. Now I feel like I need my own tech support guy.
When my wife and I quit our jobs and set off on our own, we decided now should be the time to try something new.
This past June, my wife and I stopped using our PCs. We bought Apple Macintosh computers.
Mine is a 2.0 Ghz, 20-inch iMac G5 with 2 Gigabytes of RAM. Hers is a 1.8 Ghz, 17-inch iMac G5 with 1 Gb of RAM.
Whenever friends or family visit and see our office, they almost always ask us about our Macs.
It has not been 100% smooth sailing, but we both love our Macs.
So we decided to share our experience with you.
